The problem has been there since I upgraded to 6.2, which has been a little
while.  I just decided to do something about it.

I have the following set:

dir /etc/localtime
lrwxrwxrwx   1 root     root           32 Sep 27 02:30 /etc/localtime -> 
../usr/share/zoneinfo/US/Central
