The message I get is: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom, or too many mounted file systems (aren't you trying to mount an extended partition, instead of some logical partition inside?) and in the /var/log/messages: Oct 26 17:44:27 pcarenzon kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device Oct 26 17:44:27 pcarenzon kernel: 03:40: rw=0, want=33, limit=0 Oct 26 17:44:27 pcarenzon kernel: dev 03:40 blksize=1024 blocknr=32 sector=64 size=1024 count=1 Oct 26 17:44:27 pcarenzon kernel: isofs_read_super: bread failed, dev=03:40, iso_blknum=16, block=32 The fstab file is identical to the one I had in RH6.1 and was working: /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto, user, owner,ro 0 0 Thanks for any help, jef _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
