I know you can 'make xconfig', or 'make menuconfig', etc. to help you generate a .config file right before you compile a kernel. I just grabbed the lastest 2.4-pre source. Does Redhat have a .config file floating out there that would compile the new 2.4 series that would generally produce a "stock" kernel?
