Set sendmail to relay through your ISP. Your IP is on the Dialup Users
List (DUL). This is a spam prevention technique. Too bad AOL is not so
active on their end. IIRC, it is 'smart relay', aka 'DS',  in sendmail.cf.
 
DSmail1.mco.bellsouth.net

Then restart sendmail.
