Probably a stupid question, but if you do want the program
updated/installed, why use -F? Why not use -U? I know this isn't really
the gist of what you are getting at, but I think it may get you by your
problem.

Subject: Last Try... RPM Bug?

Hi all,

When I attempt to update my RH-7.0 installation by running: rpm -Fvh
LPRng-3.6.24-2.i386.rpm (or rpm -Fvh any of the bugfix or
security rpms)

I receive the following error: __db_assert:"0" failed: file
"../dist/../common/db_err.c",line 200 Aborted (core dumped)

What's up?

Thanks,

Will Senn
