Hello ,

I'm trying unsuccesfully of install a Red Hat Linux version 6.1 for Sparc,
in a Sparc Classic with 32 Mb of RAM and an internal disk of 404 Mb.

The version I'm trying to install, is one I have downloaded from a Red Hat
Mirror, as an image, and then I copied into a CD Rom.

I tryed on 3 different machines, all of them with the same configuration I
mentioned, and in all of them the installation crashed.

The crash happend after the disk formating process, when the installer were
trying to install the packages.

The messages shown was that the operating system recieved a kill signal
(10), and then started the shutdown process.

Could anybody tell me if there is something I have to check before the
installation, or if I have to take care of the swap space or if you guess
what could have being happend?

I could try with another distribution or with solaris, but it would be a
shame because I really would like to install the version I already
downloaded.

Thanks for your help. Sincerely
