You bet! Besides having Nic Hudsonīs problem compiling the
distribution kernel, i canīt even build packages from the kernel SRPMS.
It fails compiling Ibcs. This is nuts. If i had touched something, i
would assume my changes made it fail. But now, i make a fresh
installation from Redhhat 7, i go to /usr/src/linux, do a make
menuconfig to check settings, a make dep, a make clean and then a make
bzImage, and it fails at the start of compilation? This is a complete
disregard for quality in a final product. But if it was just that. Get
the kernel SRPMS, install it and do a rpm -ba on the specfile, to see
where it will get you. Nowhere. I downloaded RH 7 iso to check it out,
but i have pity for those who bought it.
