possible dunno exactly how it all works........i just did a custom install of
6.2 and go myself out of
trouble......:-).......

yeah so stupid to go and delte anything in /boot without knowing precisely the
consequences........lesson learned........

well to get my soundcard working i must at least disable plug-n-play.....plus
to tweak scsi drivers for cd burning support......

anyway yeah i think issue was system.map etc. was linked to previous kernel
......
