Linux (and thus Red Hat) supports ISA SCSI just fine. I use an Adaptec ISA SCSI on my 
UMAX scanner. Many older scanners came with cheap Adaptec cards (which are the way to 
go, IMHO).

You'll have to figure out exactly what that card is in order to know for sure that you 
can use it.
