Seems you've never tried it in its country of origin(*). But if you do: Go
into the countryside - the best pints are usually served somewhere "in
the middle of nowhere". Or, better yet, go to Cork and have a Murphy's
:-)

However, none of these beers should be tried outside Ireland - you
simply don't get the real stuff abroad...(**)

(**) unfortunately, that holds true for quite a few other beers as well
     - the Danish seem to keep the best Carlsberg to themselves, it
     seems... :-) here, it tastes like the American Pseudo-Beers...
