Newbie question.

I use a Linux box (6.2) on an internal NT network. Samba authenticates via
the NT PDC. The Linux box acts as a server, but also a centralized
computing platform (NT is getting pushed further in the background all the
time).

Now I am toying with the idea of Samba'ing the drives out through the
firewall for a set of external IPs, while sealing off all other NT server
drives.

Is it feasible to use Samba through a firewall while having an NT PDC
authenticate passwords? Does anyone have experience doing this??
