I am running Redhat(Zoot) and know how to extract tar.gz file. The
problem is that how to install .tar.gz files like the RPM file does.
Many linux packages come in tar.gz format like the latest libc5 and I do
not know which file to be copied where in the directory after
extracting.
Please help.
