The syntax for knfsd (at least on my system) is REALLY picky about what it
will accept. I have been able to make exports work with entries like:
/home/ftp/pub 1.2.3.4(ro) # comment
But I have not ever been able to get an export to work using a netmask or
any other way of specifying more than one IP (I'm not saying it's
impossible, I've just never been able to make it happen. I've tried
netmasks and domain names with wildcards, never tried NIS groups). In
theory if you put in an entry:
/u1/REDHAT/RedHat-6.2 (ro,insecure,all_squash)
It should be readable by anyone from anywhere, but when I tried something
nearly identical to this it didn't work. . . The other alternative is to go
back to the old user-space NFS daemon which actually does work.
