Hello,

I'm not able to install Red Hat 6.2 on a Compaq Proliant ML350 server.
This server uses the following storage controller:

Integrated Dual Channel Wide Ultra2 SCSI controller: Symbios 53C896. (896
chipset)

If you do a regular install, Red Hat takes the ncr53c8xx driver but it
should use the sym53c8xx driver instead. The installation process starts,
but hangs when a large program needs to be installed.
I do not know how I can force RH to use the sym53c8xx driver (in expert mode
perhaps but I don't have a driver disk).
Also, if you look at certified RedHat hardware
(http://hardware.redhat.com/redhatready/),
this server is not included opposed to the other members of the same server
family (Proliant ML330
and Proliant ML370).

Does anyone has any idea?
Any information would be appreciated!!
