On my RedHat 6.1 system, there is an smbmount command.
Should be able to:
smbmount //windowsmachine/sharename /mnt/mountpoint
But I had some trouble with that. It worked when:
smbmount //windowsmachine/sharename /mnt/mountpoint -I windowsIpAdress -U
windowsUsername
Then it asked for a password - maybe there is a way to pass a passowrd in
as a parameter too...?
