Use your number pad how? To enter numbers, or the cursor control keys?
Do you want to use it for console based apps, or in X?
For console apps, and in an X term, the numlock key functions. It also
works in some X applications...
I use the BlackBox window manager, and the keypad works in applications
like xedit. It also works in Applix.
