First, try looking for compatibility information and hints on RedHat's site.
When I could not configure my laptop screen, I got the answer there.

Yes. I gave it a try. Linux works too slow. I would say half the speed it
works on it's own partitions. This installation method is encouraged for new
users wanting to try the feel of Linux, but with that speed, I believe
anyone would be disappointed. So, if it is just for trying, go ahead, and
then you can erase that and make a real install.
