Is it a plug-and-pray modem? I have one that wasn't recognized at all by the
system. I started to look into getting the latest version of isapnptools,
but didn't completely follow up. I forget where it was exactly, but if you
follow linux.org/Applications, you'll find it. I don't know if that will
really help you here, maybe it's worth a shot.
