First off thanks for the response :)
I am guessing that limit is imposed because the C code is using an unsigned
integer to handle the UID right?
If that is so would it be much work to modify the useradd, userdel progs to
use an unsigned long var instead? Or would I have to hack the kernel and
other programs to?
Would anyone know how to get around this limitation?
