This sounds as if you have enabled apache (httpd) on the linux box and set
the proxy address in your browser on the Windows machine to the linux box
(port 80?), instead of configuring a proxy (squid) or masquerading (ipchains).
What "redhat page" do you refer to?

This default gateway is probably allright. But you also need to setup
masquerading or a proxy.

If you have done a full install, it should be in /usr/doc/HOWTO. If you
haven't done a full install, it is on the second CD from your RedHat
distribution. Or you should download it from /ftp.redhat.com/..doc.. Also
check the HOWTO's on masquerading and/or proxying, and possibly PPP.
Good luck,
Leonard.
