Hi Mikkel, Problem still remains unsolved. At root # cdrecord -scanbus Cdrecord 1.9 (i586-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 Jörg Schilling cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open SCSI driver. cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root In my previous email I forgot to mention that in my PC (RH 6.2) 'cdrecord-1.9-2.i386.rpm' is found under /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/ not under '/etc/sec/redhat/RPMS/i386' (what is sec? security?) There are four files in the same directory/folder as follows: cdda2wav-1.9-2.i386.rpm cdrecord-devel-1.9-2.i386.rpm cdrecord-1.9-2.i386.rpm mkisofs-1.9-2.i386.rpm I only rpm 'cdrecord-1.9-2.i386.rpm'. Is it necessary to install all. Any recommendation please. Thanks in advance. Stephen -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
