How to re-config udf to write and others

Hi all people,

What will be the easy way to reconfigure udf to 'write' not as 'read only'
instead of going through the who step as in its installation to make a newly
installed CDWriter workable.

Is there a CD editing software such as CD duplication, etc coming with KDE
and/or Gnome in RH 6.2
