I haven't tried Netzero's Linux software, but they've
revamped the WIN stuff so that it no longer imprints
on top of anything you might want to be running...
as long as you haven't gone full screen mode (i.e.,
playing a game like QUAKE or such).

If the Linux side is similar, just expect the top
8th of your screen to be taken up...

On a seperate aside, does anyone know of a free ISP
that does USENET? With the loss of FreeWWWeb, there
don't seem to be any free USENET ISPs that I've seen.

Hi Justin

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know about the bankruptcy.
Bummer!!

Guess I'll have to try Netzero.
I understand they now have software for Linux users.

Anybody on the list have any experience
with Netzero's new Linux-software?

Thanks in advance.

Johnny
