I only did it once, and it worked just fine.  You need to set up the other
box to run the NFS server, of course, and make sure that the permissions
are set correctly in the /etc/exports file.  You can either mount the
CD-ROM and then share the /mnt/cdrom partition via NFS or just copy all
the contents onto the hard drive.
