Thanks for your information. The comment is correct.
Because in my PC Linux and Win98 are co-existing in one hard disk and my
modem works fine in Win98, for such a reason I am trying to do something.
I just have the driver: "Lucent LT Winmodem, PCI, Binary kernel module,
Lucent PCI-1.1-1.i386.rpm" downloaded. I shall give it a trial. If it is
too complicate taking lengthy time I prefer to acquire another External
Modem for its replacement.
Anyhow lot of thanks for your information and time.
