I broke something when I set up one of my computers. I can mount a file NFS system any number of times, and when I do a df I see all the occurrences. On the local file systems I get the following error message: mount: according to mtab, /dev/sdb1 is already mounted on /usr2 For nfs mounts on remote sculptor mtab looks like. sculptor:/d0 6417504 1035264 4740480 18% /sculptor_d0 sculptor:/d1 1952576 1273984 483328 72% /sculptor_d1 sculptor:/d2 1952576 280640 1476704 16% /sculptor_d2 sculptor:/d3 959296 32832 830528 4% /sculptor_d3 sculptor:/d0 6417504 1035264 4740480 18% /sculptor_d0 sculptor:/d1 1952576 1273984 483328 72% /sculptor_d1 sculptor:/d2 1952576 280640 1476704 16% /sculptor_d2 sculptor:/d3 959296 32832 830528 4% /sculptor_d3 I am using knfsd-clients-1.4.7-8 and knfsd-1.4.7-8. What does NFS check so it doesn't duplicate the mount? thanks don ------------------------------------------------------------------- | Don Fisher [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | MMT Observatory VOICE: (520)621-7647 | | University of Arizona FAX: (520)670-5740 | | Tucson, AZ 85721 | ------------------------------------------------------------------- -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
