Hi again, I did study the info at Promise. The only think I can figure to do
is: remove the promise card and get things working without it. Then do the
upgrade, add the drivers and reinstall the card. You know I'm not sure the
Promise card is worth the problems and I'm thinking of just removing it,
permanently.
