Hmm.... I'm a bit fuzzy-headed this morning. Refresh me on what
you're trying to do? IIRC you're trying to make a 16 meg /boot
partition within the first 1024 cylinders. Well, it MAY not come to
that if you have a boot floppy you made at install. If you do, you
can boot off that, go get the latest version of LILO, install it and
re-run /sbin/lilo as root. The current / latest version of LILO
doesn't need the kernel w/in the first 1024 cylinders of the hard
drive.
If you haven't installed yet, don't worry about the "partition too
big" error, and don't bother creating a /boot partition, IF you can
get past that. Just make sure to create a boot floppy when given the
opportunity. Then, go grab the latest LILO (it can be found on
www.freshmeat.net -- search for LILO.)
