Gentlemen:

Since upgrading from 5.2 to 6.2 I'm finding this message in my
var/log/messages file every morning:

Jun 25 04:02:01 fcshome anacron[23399]: Updated timestamp for job `cron.daily' to
2000-06-25

Strange thing is I'm not running anacron, I'm using the standard cron
(I assume it's vixie-cron). /etc/cron.daily DOES run at 0402 every
morning, but what the heck does this message mean and why does it mention
anacron?

Thanks!

Fred
