I gave up on Linuxconf a long time ago and have not heard anything since
that would make me take a second look. It might be okay for a desktop,
but it makes too many changes in too many places for me to trust it on a
server. I like the knowledge that a change I make only changes one
specific thing and not 2 or 3 related things that the software thinks
needs changing too.
You will probably need to change sendmail.cw, but I have never needed to
do this myself. Install the sendmail-cf and sendmail-doc packages and
take a look at /usr/doc/sendmail-xxx/README.cf.
