Red Hat 6.2 all updates except kernel updates generic K-6/200 MHz 128 MB RAM It's my wife's machine. All she uses it for is browsing, e-mail, IRC, with the occasional Emacs session to edit text files. The problem is every day or two it locks up on her. On investigation, I discovered that all that failed is keyboard/mouse/tablet input. I can login via SSH and the system is totally idle. I kill off X11 and restarts the normal GUI login screen. More often than not, the tablet (ACECAD III), is still dead and the system must be rebooted before all of the pointing devices and keyboard work. Any ideas?
