I sent a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] a few days ago from my
computer at work, thru the lan at my co. I never saw it on the
digest. Does the mail system monitor the header lines and reject
messages that don't come from the same source, even if the username
and password are acceptable to the isp? (I am obviously connected at
work to the Internet at all times, and I tell Eudora my isp, my username,
my password, the DNS numbers, etc, and it connects as if I were at home.)
But the headers on my email are probably different, since there is a relay
or something thru the co. server. I don't remember having a problem
before, but maybe there has been a change. This message comes from my
home, so it should get to its destination OK. If the mail reception
program is
selective, how can I "deceive" it, without subscribing twice and
getting 2 copies of all mail? All help appreciated. --doug
