Hi Each time a reboot my RH 6.1 box the andq and lpsched process bring the box to a complete halt. This is what ps aux outputs: root 143 0.0 0.4 1208 516 ? S 10:24 0:00 lpsched /amdq root 1156 96.8 0.4 1256 536 ? R 10:32 3:33 in.telne /amdq In the above case I tried to telnet in from a workstation and that hung which is, I suspect, the second entry. I have disabled the lpd and can't understand why the lpsched entry exists I understand that amd is the automount daemon, but what is amdq ?.
