Step 1: use RPM to see which packages are installed

  rpm -qa | grep netscape

You should have two, netscape-common and either netscape-navigator or
netscape-communicator. If you don't have these then uninstall what you have
and reinstall.

Step 2: clean out any previous netscape settings.

rm -r ~/.netscape (Make sure you are logged in as the correct user)

Step 3: Run netscape manually.

Open up a terminal and start netscape manually (type 'netscape') so that we
can see any error messages. It will either display the browser as normal or
else give you some error message. If you recieve an error message then let
us know what it is.

:-)
