scsi module loading twice

this has to do with an email i sent out yesterday. i found out , what is
happening is for some reason , my kernel is loading my advansys scsi
module twice , first on scsi0 , then it tries to do it again on scsi1 ,
i Have no scsi1 , thus , it just hangs and gives me the
"asc_isr_callback" error.
any words of wisdom? please?
