Hi, has anyone on the list gotten Quake 3 to work with the Mach64 chip. I have an All-In-Wonder Pro, and i have read that you can play Q3 with it. i have GLX and Mesa correctly installed and working. I have Q3 installed but it won't run. It keeps giving me errors like this: Q3 1.11 linux-i386 Nov 24 1999 ----- FS_Startup ----- Current search path: /home/quake/.q3a/baseq3 /usr/local/games/quake3/baseq3/pak0.pk3 (3539 files) /usr/local/games/quake3/baseq3 ---------------------- execing default.cfg execing q3config.cfg couldn't exec autoexec.cfg ----- Client Initialization ----- ----- Initializing Renderer ---- ------------------------------- ----- Client Initialization Complete ----- --- Common Initialization Complete --- Opening IP socket: localhost:27960 Hostname: s1040.south-green.ohiou.edu IP: 132.235.153.40 ----- R_Init ----- ...loading /usr/local/games/quake3/libGL.so: Initializing OpenGL display ...setting mode 3: 640 480 Using XFree86-VidModeExtension Version 0.8 XFree86-VidModeExtension Activated at 640x480 Using 8/8/8 Color bits, 16 depth, 0 stencil display. Received signal 4, exiting... If anyone knows how to fix this, or has a success story with the MAch64, please respond. Thanks, -e- -- erik <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "Can I pour you a beer, Mr. Peterson?"
