Hello, Newbie question here...I have a new RH install and X doesnt start normally, even when told to. How can I make X start automatically as it does on my other installation? When I initially set this machine up, I made runlevel 3 the default because it was going to be a problematic install. Now I have everything working, for the most part.. Now I have runlevel 5 as the default in /etc/inittab and I still boot to a shell prompt. Something must be failing, but I can't figure out what. startx does work, should I just add that in a shell script somewhere? I'd like to do it the "right" way. What I would like is the nice graphical login and password prompt I have on my other machine..
