OK, I've finally gotten approval to remove the Windows 2000 PC from our
network, it doesn't like playing with our RedHat 5.2 Samba server.

The user in question had a dual boot Win98SE/Win2000 setup on different
disks.

I zapped the 2000 partition, and then ran Win98's FDISK /MBR.

The boot loader will not go!

We still get the choice of Windows or Windows 2000. If we select Windows
2000, it does now die an unhappy death, so the partition is definately gone,
but how do I now get rid of the annoying boot menu/loader?

Sorry for the off-topic post, but the Windows lists give me no joy. Please
reply privately as this shouldn't even be on the list, but I don't know
where to turn.
