-I am thinkihg you might want a replacement for winproxy in terms of Linux.
- Then try NAT (Network Address Translation) it is so much "faster" than
winproxy and wingate
- If you wanted get your Linux box to go through the internet using winproxy
then all you need to do is in NEtscape goto Edit, Prefecences, On the left hand
side goto Advanced -> proxy, Manual PRoxy then type in your Winproxy IP address
and your port which is 3128 for winproxy.
- Or if you are using Lynx as your browser just modify /etc/lynx.cfg (i blieve)
and you can get the box on the internet.
