The best thing to do is to find the web site that supports it and read
up on the installation and configuration of the POP3 server.  What it
will probably boil down to is a command line switch.

Why not look into qpopper from Qualcomm.  Their POP3 server is the
most popular in the commercial world because it is so stable.
