Thanks to everyone for solving my other problems Just one left for now.
When the computer boots the network is not coming up. ntsysv shows that
networking should start. However eth0 is not listed when I do ifconfig.
Than if I look at basic host info in linuxconf and quit the network is up
and I can talk to my other machines. What configuration files are used
by networking when it is started at boot. I have a machine runing 6.0
with the same card so I could compare all the entries if I had any idea
what I needed to look at. The crazy thing is I don't have to do anything
to make it work just look at it. It also worked on the original install
until
I assigned the machine name. Then it didn't work till I rebooted and checked
out the entry in linuxconf.
Any Help is much appreciated
Linda
