This is getting frustrating!
I bought 6.2. It stalls during the install. Ok -- there is the "support"
at www.redhat.com/support, which is available after creating a
customer profile at www.redhat.com/now. That should help me.......
Ok -- I tried that......
But I can't register -- it claims a "missing prefix". The only prefix
I see is in the telephone number. I didn't omit it. I've now tried it
four times and have given up.
I'm trying to be calm, but it's getting increasingly hard. I have been
trying to install three versions of RHL (5.1, 5.2, and now 6.2) on
a 486 that has been running RHL4.2. I've been at it for three weeks
and have gotten nowhere because the bootup process always stalls out.
I apologize for the strident nature of this posting. It's just getting
to me.
