Thanks in advance:
I tried my new RHL6.2 boot disk preparatory to installing 6.2. To my
surprise, it asked for a "drivers disk". I couldn't find anything in
the "RedHat Linux 6.2 Installation Guide" on this, and, though there
is a "drivers" directory on the 6.2CD, I'm not sure how to make what
the installation wants in the way of a "drivers disk".
Is this a problem common to all installations, or have I got some sort
of unique difficulty?
The good news is that the 6.2 boot.img floppy worked. Neither the 5.1
nor 5.2 boot.img floppies worked, and I still don't know why.
Ah, the challenging beauty of it all.....
Thanks again,
