Short answer - yes. Unless there's a way to do load balancing using
multiple NICs which I haven't seen. (But then again I haven't really been
looking.)
Longer answer - it depends on the physical setup of the network(s)
involved. Are they connected with
dumb hubs, switches or?
In theory, you could help balance the load to the server by putting both
NICs on the same segment and having some services listen on one card and
some on the other. I don't know if this actually works or not because I've
not tried it but perhaps someone else on the list has. I'm wondering if
this would cause any routing problems or not.
