Under these circumstances, I'd replace the "/usr/sbin" you have there
with "/usr/local" and install all non-RPM stuff in there. Reason being
that all RPM stuff can be easily reinstalled on upgrade and you can then
opt to leave all your local add-ons (e.g. scripts in /usr/local/bin)
untouched.

I'm running both on one machine on my home network and just to satisfy
my paranoia I have portsentry running as well. I'd say that's probably
good enough for a home network (however, if somebody has good reasons
why not, I'd be eager to know them... :-} )
