Thanks in advance. I'm having trouble installing any later RHL than 4.2
on an Intel486 that has been running 4.2 for a long time. Here are the
symptoms:
with a 4.2 boot floppy, the process goes normally
but with any later release, the boot floppy does not display the line
"loading vmlinuz ..."; instead in hangs ---
The boot floppy in question works ok on a Pentium II that has been
running
5.1, so I'm guessing that the floppy is ok.
What am I missing?
