Hi,
First of all you should try reading the de-uglification mini-howto.
Just follow the steps and you will get better fonts already.
Then you could try setting the true type fonts that are now supported
under RH 6.1. For this purpose go to the true type fonts how to.
All these document can be found at the linux documentation project site
( I think it is www.ldp.org).
