Ok, I made a typo in the original post. I actually divided by 6000, but
only typed 600 in my post. Anyway:
137291046 bytes / 6000 sec = 22882 bytes/sec = 22 Kbytes/sec
which still seems pretty fast for my 33.6 modem...
