I need to make a backup of a 6.1 box to a server that has no rcommands.
I can use tar with the --rsh-command=usr/bin/ssh option
can this be done with cpio I understand that cpio does a beter job with
somethings like permissions and symlinks. it is on a private network so
I guess I could use rsh but I have never needed to us .rhosts for
anything and don't really want to learn how easy it is :-)
