Guys:

I **JUST** started having this problem this evening. Been running 5.2
on this same hardware for a year, never saw it before.

intermittently when trying to access fd0 I'll be greeted with:

floppy0: Unable to allocate DMA memory
floppy0: Unable to allocate DMA memory
Can't open /dev/fd0: Device not configured

repeatedly.

Then a few minutes later it will work. Then after a while longer it will
again give that error.

FWIW, in case it matters, just before that happened I had a forced/dirty
shutdown when my fingers hit the power button instead of the floppy
eject button. (Why oh why do computer case makers tend to put all the
buttons so close together???) It came back up, ran fsck on several
partitions but reported no errors on any of them. Everything else seems
to be running fine,... I can't imagine that the dirty shutdown would
have had anything to do with it.

What do you all think?
